Universal grinding machine BHC R 63 CNC

BHC 63 CNC is a fully CNC controlled grinding machine with control axes X (infeed of wheel head), Z (longitudinal feed of table), program-controlled of work head spindle revolution C.
The grinder has been designed primarily for numerically controlled grinding of a number of external cylindrical surfaces of different diameters and their contiguous front surfaces and radii, including automatic wheel dressing and wear compensation by means of the CNC system. However it can be used with special accessory for internal grinding.
On the machine can be effected longitudinal traverse grinding with a moving table, plunge-cut grinding with a stationary or oscillating table, grinding in the cycle consisting of sequence of plunge-cut grinding followed by longitudinal regrinding. In centres are possible grind cylindrical surfaces or slim taper surfaces within the range of tab le swivel. Sharper tapers can be grind by held in chuck. Shaped work piece can be ground with linear and circular interpolation.
Wheel head infeed and table travel are provided by means of servomotors and ball screws. The BHC 63 is the most stabil (heavy) grinding machine, can find its application primarily in the piece or the small-scale production for grinding the workpieces of weight up to 4.000 kg.(optionally 5.000 Kg - heavy duty).

Automaticaly turning of grinding spindle, on the vertical axis B can be equipped with up to 3 grinding wheels. Therewith are more technological possibilities on the grinding machine. Primarily is here higher possibility to grind one workpiece by more tools on one gripping. With this equipment can be saved the time for changing of grinding wheel.

Basic parameters

Swing diameters:  630 mm / 850 mm / 1000 mm

Distance between centers: 2000 / 3000 / 4000 / 5000 and 6000 mm

Max. weight of workpieces between centres: 4000 kg (option 5000 kg)

Ball screws

Feed for X and Z axes is provided by high precision ball screws from reputable Czech manufacturers (KSK Kuřim), or from abroad (Spain, Shutton). All screws are made in precision accuracy IT 1 for axis X and IT 3 for axis Z. Screws are mounted in accurate cases using INA preloaded radial-axial bearings. Use of high quality ball screws ensures smooth and quiet running of the machine with the possibility of 1μm increment in both axes.

Technology cycles

  •  Longitudinal grinding
  • Plunge cut grinding
  • Multiple plunge cut grinding
  • Taper grinding (cone)
  • Convexity / conaxity grinding
  • Dressing
  • Ball grinding

Electrically powered tape finishing attachement to enable superfinishing of ground and fine-turned surfaces. Well suited for machining workpiece collars with radii or very small relief cuts. Apart from cylindrical workpieces, flat surfaces can also be mechined. Usually 0,05 Ra
