Fermat - horizontal boring and milling machines

The rotary table consists of three main parts -slide, bed and rotary clamping plate - while all are of an X-braced casting that was thermally stabilized. The clamping plate lies on cross roller taper bearing resistance that secures high load capacity with minimal passive resistance.

The rotary movement is secured by two pinions. Each of them has its own servomotor with a gearbox. The principle of its operation is often described as a Master-Slave Function.
