Universal grinding machine BUC E 63

The machine is designed for precise universal grinding, both axial and face grinding, with a fixed or oscillating table. The machine is suitable for machining of small or medium series of work pieces, using the automatic cycle. The supports of drive spindle, grinding spindle and tailstock sleeve are characterized by high stiffness and precision. In addition to center grinding it enables offhand grinding with use of external grinding (option) and also internal grinding. In another version it allows grinding with concave or convex shaped surface.

Basic parameters

Swing diameters:  630 mm / 850 mm / 1000 mm

Distance between centers: 2000 / 3000 / 4000 / 5000 and 6000 mm

Ball screws

Feed for X and Z axes is provided by high precision ball screws from reputable Czech manufacturers (KSK Kuřim), or from abroad (Spain, Shutton). All screws are made in precision accuracy IT 1 for axis X and IT 3 for axis Z. Screws are mounted in accurate cases using INA preloaded radial-axial bearings. Use of high quality ball screws ensures smooth and quiet running of the machine with the possibility of 1μm increment in both axes.

Technology cycles

  •  Longitudinal grinding
  • Plunge cut grinding
  • Multiple plunge cut grinding
  • Taper grinding (cone)
  • Convexity / conaxity grinding
  • Dressing
  • Ball grinding

Superfinish

Electrically powered tape finishing attachement to enable superfinishing of ground and fine-turned surfaces. Well suited for machining workpiece collars with radii or very small relief cuts. Apart from cylindrical workpieces, flat surfaces can also be mechined. Usually 0,05 Ra
